The Hostaway software allows you to send out messages and emails to the guests and receive the replies from the guests in the Hostaway software.
The Booking.com Messaging API is now available for all listings that are fully active in the channel!
This feature allows you to have centralized Host-Guest communications, including message automation, through the Hostaway Dashboard. You will be able to see and work with messages coming from the Booking.com site, Booking.com native mobile app and guest email application.
Please also note that it is possible to send a message to the guest email through "Email Communication" tab but the guest reply will be routed by Booking.com through the Messaging API. This means that in the Hostaway dashboard these replies will appear under the "Channel Communication" tab.
Kindly note that the "Channel Communication" tab is the MOST RECOMMENDED OPTION for guest messaging.
As this has just been rolled out recently, all the Booking.com messages will appear (old and new messages) on the Messaging area. This is due to the initial import of messages and it will correct itself in the coming days chronologically.
For the messaging to take place within the Hostaway software, their email address must be included in the reservation details.
Please note that attachments cannot be sent out as of the moment.
