Notes
- (1)House Rules: Do not include contact info or links for Airbnb/Vrbo, or sync will fail
-
(2)Reservation Source Attribution:
- For Vrbo, you may need to manually set the source for imported reservations during a software switch
- For software switches (e.g., moving to Hostaway from another PMS), you may need to manually import reservations and set the correct channel source for proper sync
- (3)Booking Window: Should only be set in Hostaway or the channel, not both, to avoid conflicts. If you have issues with dates not syncing, try toggling the booking window off and on, or remap the listing
- (4)Photos & Descriptions: Always avoid contact info or links in fields that sync to Airbnb or Vrbo, as this will block the sync
- (5)License Info: The License number is called Registration Number on Airbnb and must be entered in the Airbnb Dashboard following the steps
- (6)Booking.com Listing Content Export: The Hostaway software exports the listing content once, the first time you export it. After that, if you need to adjust photos, bed types, or any content after the listing creation, you must do it manually on Booking.com Extranet. Moreover, due to Booking.com mapping restrictions, property details marked with a (6) in the compatibility table cannot be automatically synchronized when mapping a property. You will need to manage and update these elements directly in your Booking.com Extranet dashboard.
- (7)For Booking.com, when you export the listings, make sure the taxes are correctly exported
- Manual Blocks: If you block dates in Hostaway, they will sync to channels. If you block dates in a channel, they may not sync back to Hostaway
- Some fields (like rate plans, markups, or booking window) should only be set in one place (Hostaway or the channel) to avoid conflicts.
