Syncing by iCal links

Syncing reservations by iCal is a traditional way that takes from 30 minutes to multiple days in order to complete. The information syncing via iCal is quite limited to some reservation data.

XML or an API connection

When you use an XML/API connection, the sync time will be way faster, from an instant up to 30 minutes depending on the channel. In addition, it is also possible to sync and update other settings such as daily rate synchronization, minimum stay, guest messaging, and payment processing.

With Hostaway, you will be able to sync to most channels by the API connection.

Note that for iCal, it depends on the channel pickup time, we will show an estimation

• If you manually accessed the same iCal as used in Hostaway, it takes another 2 hours before the Hostaway software can access it again
