If you currently offer stays of more than one month in one of your properties through Airbnb, you should be aware that payment for these stays works differently than for stays of less than one month.
Payments for long-term stays work differently than regular stays; Airbnb automatically collects from guests 1 month upfront and at the beginning of each 30 days.
Stays longer than 30 days will be paid in separate installments and any extra fees and taxes applicable will be pro-rated according to the number of stays after the 30th day. This means that the cleaning fee will appear to be less when booking over 30 days, the remaining amount will be paid on the second installment depending on the remaining days.
