How to collect reviews from your Hostaway reservations?
This works for Hostaway reservations: Booking Engine, Direct Reservations, Google Travel, and WordPress.
Collect reviews
Each reservation has a unique URL. The URL can be used in message automation and templates by adding the {{review_url}} dynamic field.
To allow guests to leave reviews for direct bookings made through Hostaway, you need to create a message template with a dynamic field that will send the review link to the guest. Once the message template is created, you can then send it to the guest after their reservation is complete.
When guests go to the URL, they see a page that prompts them to leave a review. Available fields are rating, name, title, and review.
Publish reviews

After a review is submitted:
It automatically appears in the booking engine.
The review URL is no longer active and leads to the guest portal instead.

You can edit submitted reviews, but guests cannot.
