Displaying reviews in the booking engine

• By default, all OTA reviews are shown in the booking engine.

• To hide a review in the booking engine, go to Hostaway > Reviews and press the hide in booking engine button (eye icon) (Under the Action column)

  • To display a hidden review, press the show in booking engine button (eye icon)

Edit a review

• Editing a review is done by pressing the pencil icon next to the review (under the action column)
  • For direct reviews all fields are editable
  • For OTA reviews, only the reviewer name field is editable
    

    • The reviewer name field is taken from the guest first name field in the reservation

      • If reviewer name is empty, then the review will be displayed as Anonymous

Where are the reviews showing in your booking engine?

• Reviews are shown in the booking engine in multiple places
  • The average rating of all published reviews is shown on the listing card
    • 
  • In the listing page, the average rating appears on the first image, in the booking widget (with a link to the reviews section), and in the reviews section
    
    • 
  • The reviews are shown in the reviews section at the bottom of the listing page, above the map
