Airbnb connection lost due to Airbnb password being updated
What does it mean?
The API connection between Hostaway and Airbnb might be lost on the Airbnb side. This means that data will stop being synced (reservations, calendar updates, messages, etc). One of the main reasons is that you have updated your Airbnb password.
How to get notified?
If it happens, Hostaway will inform you via Dashboard, Mobile App, and/or email only if you have selected "error reports" in the Notification system.
To reconnect your account
Even if the account is already connected to Hostaway, you will need to follow the process to add it again using the new credentials.
Go to Channel Manager > Channels > click on Configure across Airbnb Pro > click on Connect existing Airbnb Account > Add your new credentials and Save.
The connection should work again but we advise testing it.
