Custom Domain for the Booking Engine
Hostaway now gives you the possibility to redirect your own domain (or sub-domain) to your Hostaway Booking Engine.
This will require you to go to your domain provider and change records. Depending on the domain provider, it can be more or less easy to perform. We advise requesting the help of your domain provider if needed.
Note: Request this option to support@hostaway.com if you don't have access yet
- The changes can take up to 24 hours to be made depending on your domain provider
Configure your naked or subdomain
Configuring your domain will redirect to your Hostaway booking engine.
We will use the example for the domain "myrentals.com"

Please know some DNS Zone files do not allow this configuration, if that is your case, then do not add this A record on subdomain level and if after 24 hours you still face any issues contact us at support@hostaway.com.

Some tips
- If you don't know who your domain provider is, use who.is
- If you want to check if your A record/CNAM are propagating properly, you can use WhatsmyDNS.net
- Once changes have been made, you will need to check if it worked properly via Incognito Window (for Google Chrome) - Incognito Window will force your browser to check if the domain redirects properly to Hostaway Booking Engine (instead of relying on cache)
